Born in Yugoslavia to a pastry chef and an engineer, Gorjana naturally became an amalgam of her influences; imaginative yet structured, eccentric yet simple. Always interested in the details of things, her creativity was spurred at a young age.

When her family moved to Canada and later to the United States, Gorjana quickly adapted to the fast-pace lifestyle of North America. Influenced by the rise of ’80s pop culture, her impressionable years were spent creating everything from belts to jean jackets. It wasn’t long before Ford Model and Talent took notice. Gorjana immediately realized the fashion industry would be where her inventive self would one day be in accord.

Now at the helm of an internationally recognized brand, much is still expected from this designer, because although she is far from the beginning, her journey is still very far from the end.
