JCK Las Vegas

Jewelers and retailers from around the world gathered at JCK Las Vegas from May 30 to June 2.

“It’s the ultimate in luxury. Everywhere you look, the best designers in the world are represented,” The Vault’s manager Karen Armsworthy said. “We go every year to find what’s new and exciting from other countries. It’s all about finding new designers and bringing the hottest lines back to Halifax.”

“And it’s not just about the show. Being in Las Vegas, among the best designer retail, is great exposure to what’s happening.”

JCK Las Vegas presents the full spectrum of products, including the largest selection of jewelry, gems, timepieces and product line launches. Keynote presentations and conference sessions provide jewelry professionals with the tools they need to stay focuses, well-informed and market-savvy.

Joan Mikkelsen’s number was drawn on April 25. She didn’t waste any time coming into the store and spending her entire $500 gift in one visit.

Ivy Ho became the second winner on May 2. She plans to visit The Vault this week to spend her winnings, though she won’t be keeping the whole $500 to herself.

“I’m actually sharing the prize with my coworker, Kimberly Dossett. She’s the one who told me to text, because she doesn’t have texting on her phone. The deal was, if I won, I’d split the prize with her because she told me about the contest,” Ho explains.
